Manti Pageant

This weekend, I went to Manti with Amanda and Mark Lewis and Stephanie and Julianne. The drive was heavenly--rolling green hills, farms, baby cows, and sheep. I love the countryside! The Manti temple is gorgeous. It looks like a castle as you approach it from Ephraim.

The pageant was very interesting. The dramatic effect of the whole thing on the hillside impressed me, but the script needs a major re-write. Major. I think the original recording was done in the 70s. That's what it sounded like at least. And I couldn't get over the melodrama. The waving arms were too much! Ha ha. But I still say everyone should go once!

I should go back to the Manti Pageant. I remember going when I was a little girl and I was sick as a dog. Something about feeling like you're going to puke doesn't create very good memories. Manti Pageant, another thing to add to the "would like to do when I get the time and/or money" list. :-) What's next for your, Sar? How about a road trip to the Hill Cumorah pageant?
