These Is My Words

The book club I'm a part of decided, mostly on a whim, to read this novel by Nancy E. Turner. I didn't know anything about the book besides the subtitle, but it turned out to be one of the best books I have read in a very, very long time. Never have I read a novel that taught me so much about life, death, pain, love, marriage, and motherhood. I came away wanting to write more beautifully in my own journal and to live stronger and better. And how could I not love a book with a heroine named Sarah? This is a MUST READ! The love story puts Twilight to shame!

Hey, you never finished Twilight, so how would you know?! ;-)

I love that book so much. Have you started the sequels yet?

Hey! I read the entire first book of the Twilight series! :-) And no, I haven't read any more Sarah Anges Prine books yet. Are they good?

Oh, I thought you stopped halfway through. But anyway, you're comparing pop culture fun with historical fiction. They're both really good books!

I haven't read the others either...the ending of the first one took a bit of the heart out of further reading! (You know what I mean.) But my grief has subsided enough now that I'm ready to move forward. :-) I think I'll get book 2 from the library soon. If you read it, let me know what you think.

Hey, I read another you might like! Have you read The Magic of Ordinary Days yet? Historical fiction -- WWII. A light and enjoyable read.

You have a blog! I love it!
Thanks for coming to my shower. My sister Vanessa says she thinks you're awesome and wants to hang out with you more. I agree.
I'm totally going to read this book.

Wow! What an awesome, lucky find. I'll definitely have to add it to my list.

I have a favor to ask you--can I pick your brain? http://mrsmathesonyearone.blogspot.com/2009/08/out-of-best-books.html (Sorry, it's kind of long, but I really would love your advice.)

Also, this has nothing to do with anything, but the word verification says "mommon." The way it's waved makes it look like it says...well, "mormon." Made me smile and look twice. :)
